Klaus Walder

Klaus studied architecture at the Technical University of Vienna (TU Wien). His early career included an extensive tenure of 20 years at Stragalis Jean-Yves & Associates in Athens, where he specialized in the management of luxury hotels, conference centers and spa developments.

Building on this foundation, he has held senior leadership positions at prestigious firms in Vienna, including Skyline Architects, Arkan Zeytinoglu Architects and A01 Architects. During this time in the Austrian capital, he directed the planning and execution of landmark projects such as the high-rise skyscraper Danubeflats (180m residential tower) and the Seeviertel Gmunden hotel and residences. His expertise spans the full project lifecycle, from complex building permit submissions to intensive construction site supervision and contractor coordination.

Currently, Klaus serves as an Associate Director at Potiropoulos+Partners. With over 30 years of professional experience, he provides technical leadership across complex architectural projects of varying scales and typologies. He contributes to the overall strategic and technical direction of projects, ensuring consistency, quality, and alignment with design intent.
