Nikos Kaldis

Nikos received his Bachelor and Master of Architecture Engineering from University of Patras (2016) and his Master in Architecture and Urban Design from University of Patras (2018) with Distinction. He presented his Master Thesis about the city of Marseille during a daily workshop for the students of Yale School of Architecture in Athens headed by Elia Zenghelis (Advanced Design Studio – Fall 2017).

Nikos worked both for “DOMÉS”, International Review of Architecture, and “Georgios Panetsos, Alkestis Rodi & Associates” Architectural Office in Athens, as an Intern Architectural Student. In the following years, he collaborated with “Prothesis” Architectural & Technical Office and “Potiropoulos + Partners”, working on the design of residential, commercial, and renovation projects, and gaining experience in all stages of design, from concept to completion. In 2020, Nikos joined “Decathlon Project Planning & Engineering Consultants S.A.” as a project architect, working on large-scale urban projects with an emphasis on strategic development and integrated design solutions. Since 2025, Nikos has been part of the “Potiropoulos + Partners” team, currently working as Associate Director of the firm.

His thesis, as well as other academic projects, have been presented and published in renowned architectural conferences and journals. He has participated in many national and international architectural competitions. Piano House in Ano Kastritsi, Achaea, in collaboration with “Prothesis”, was shortlisted among the 40 best entries (out of 165) at the 11th Biennale of Young Greek Architects.

Nikos is focused not only on the architectural detail that serves its initial design purpose but also as a means of relating that to its context, its inhabitants and as a unique way of improving the overall quality of the building design.
